We help counterparties fix a price and manage exposure on physical gold and silver, using spot pricing, futures-linked pricing or the LBMA benchmark rates. Each arrangement is structured around the quantity, timing and level of cover the counterparty needs.
Spot fixing sets a price for immediate delivery. Futures-linked hedging protects a position over a longer period. LBMA-referenced pricing gives contracts and settlement a transparent benchmark that the wider market already uses. Every fix is confirmed in writing before it takes effect.
Jewellery manufacturers, dealers and refiners often need to fix the price of metal they will buy or sell weeks or months ahead. We agree the structure in advance, including the quantity, reference rate, timing and settlement, and confirm each fix in writing. Positions can be reviewed as requirements change, and hedging can be paired with physical trading, vaulting and delivery. That way the price side and the metal side of a requirement are handled by one team instead of being split between providers.
